Android Oreo Go

in #android6 years ago

Welcome back everyone!
Wait a second!...Ahmm this is my first post by the way!

Recently I read about the latest features of Android Oreo online. I thought it will be helpful for you all if I summarise those features here in my blog.

The first and foremost thing about Android Oreo ( 8.0) is the overall change in the user interface. Its simply looks good. It makes your phone look elegant and adds a majestic look to your phone. Of course it will be unique as well( you would be amoung the 0.13% of android population using it!).

Great Looks!

No visual change compared to Android Nougat( 7.1.1 or 7.1.2)
Much reduced settings page, displaying only the needs of the user
Improved Do Not Disturb mode
th
Condensed notification cards, which you can expand for more information.
You can now change the icon shape
Oreo no longer has a default maximum aspect ratio – it is simply the default aspect ratio of the device. It just adjusts to your device.
the Android Oreo Easter Egg is an octopus.
and many more cool features!

Take Control of your Phone

New in Oreo is the ability to snooze notifications. You can partially swipe a notification away and see two icons: one leading to the notification channel settings for that app and another that sets a timer before the notification reappears.
Go on, Its your time to explore!(Psst!…You can always go for a custom rom, ;-))
Meet the all new File Manager!
Google has introduced its all new File Manager, of-course you need not get an Oreo update for that! Just go for the Files go beta version. The Files go beta resembles the new Oreo file manager a lot in terms of functionalities. Remember the days when we used to get phones without File Manager?!

Oreo Dozes of itself!

Yeah you heard it right Android Oreo comes with Doze Mode pre-installed. You don’t have to download and install the app from the Play Store( as if it were a tedious task!).

With the inbuilt Doze Mode, Background Execution Limits being imposed in Android Oreo will ensure that apps won’t run wild with background services or keep listener services (aka “broadcasts“) open at all times. Don’t get pissed off by those terms, you can always check the links for further information.

One of the best features linked with the coming of Android Oreo is the ability to Snooze individual notification. This feature will make the message go away for 15 minutes or something , then come right back when the time is up. You can also change the snooze time right after you’ve snoozed a notification.

Fingerprint Scanner Gestures

They even made the fingerprint scanner to dance on the user’s command! What will be the fun if i tell you this? Go on, explore!

Rescue Party

Ever went on a boot loop? Ever lost your data in this progress? There, there, Oreo has got a solution to this issue. With the brand new Rescue Party system automatically applies certain patches and fixes so that your phone doesn’t go on a boot loop.

Thats all folks for the day!

Oh wait a second, did this tempt ya? Hmm… why don’t you try a Lineage rom or Resurrection remix rom --_

Have a great day!
