• If possible, use a mobile case so that the mobile will not get damaged when it falls down accidentally
• Make sure that you use a scratch guard so that the mobile screen is not scratched or damaged
• When you buy a mobile, ask whether the glass is gorilla glass because such glass does not break easily
• Make sure that the company make is good because it is no use buying a cheap mobile which will go faulty within a few months – trust me, I have seen mobiles with such a poor screen
• The mobile must be having low radiation
• The mobile must be charged only once per two days or at most a single time a day as overcharging means bad news for the battery
• The mobile must not be handed over to children who love to play games but overplaying could harm the set and also encourage the habit of using other people’s stuff for their entertainment – that is a totally different issue but mobiles should not be encouraged in the case of growing children who need to play outdoors too
• Too many apps should not be used as updates could overload the system memory and it will affect the performance of the mobile
• Be sure to clean the cookies and other histories so that the mobile is not overworked
• If ever the screen seems to have a problem in display, please switch off the set and let it cool. Then switch it on after an hour and notice the performance. If it persists, try to reset the settings using the method provided by the mobile company. This will solve the problem.
• If there is a problem with hardware, approach the technician so that it is corrected immediately

Many Android users install apps without giving much thought to the permissions that they are automatically granting. Some apps might misuse this and even extract vital information. Always make sure to read the reviews on play store before installing an app and granting permission.

Some apps like the ones which track your steps run in the background and drain both battery power and internet usage. Please test from time to time whether such apps actually 'help'.
