TOUCAN

As you know today's blog is on "Toucan" .Nature created so many beautiful species in universe that even including me we don't know. Nature plays with color and created some thing so beautiful that appeals your eyes so today's blog is also discovering and sharing some facts about the one most beautiful bird called "TOUCAN".

TOUCAN are crow sized bird with color full beak (nose) . Toucans are mostly find south and central American region because they are rain forest birds . They scientific name is Ramphastidae this family has 40 more species and there are also different types or different color s of toucan .

There color full beak is about 20 cm long and this is the longest beak of than any other bird as it is larger than there head but you thought how could it carry .The answer is pretty simple because its beak is made up of keraitn ligt as human hairs. It also keep toucan cool in hot whether. Its tongue is also large .

Toucan mostly live in canopy layer of rain forest where they easily find fruits or food to eat and also provide them provide them protection .Toucan live with there partners on holes on trees where they make there nest .

Toucan wings are short so they can't fly to long and even they don't go far they mostly move on branches by the help of there curved toe and sharp claws.There voice is most like a frog.They mostly eat fruits ,insect and lizards of small size.

Mostly found type of toucan is Toco Toucan of long bill of orange color . They mostly live for 20 years.Its different types are:

There are many other type of toucan.Toucans are also in danger because of deforestation .The safety is in the hands of Humans so save forest and safe these beautiful gifts of nature.
