Shy Amphibian Friends Come Out For Some Sunshine & A Photoshoot!
Every night we are serenaded by the sounds of frogs singing. We never get a chance to get a close look at them during the day. The hide themselves in the little pond and anytime we get close they slip into the water in the blink of an eye!
The other day I was amazed to see them sunning themselves on the rocks around the pond!
I grabbed my zoom lens for my camera and inched closer as quietly as possible. They quickly saw me, but this time they didn't move! Maybe they were getting used to their audience?
Their color and markings were beautiful, but there eyes were what grabbed me the most.
After grabbing a couple of shots of my amphibian models, they decided that was enough exposure and slipped into the green water. One surfaced just enough for me to grab one more really interesting photo!
Thanks to my little green friends for the opportunity to showcase their beauty to the world!
