The Various Species of Spider Around My House
Hi Steemians,
There are so many species of spiders on earth, both small and large. Each region of the type and size of the spider has its own distinctive features.
Just like anywhere else, where I also have various types of spiders, as for the type of spider I have gathered as follows.
Nephila Maculata
Name scientific of this spider is Nephila Maculata, while the other name is Giant Wood Spider. Called a giant because the average size is large. Characteristics: first legs longest and shortest third leg. The female has a pair of yellow lines on the dorsal surface of the abdomen and yellow spots on the ventral surface of the abdomen. While the male can be identified from the color of the brownish red and brown abdomen, males are usually smaller.
Garden Spider (A. Aurantia)
This spider has the characteristics of black and yellow, choosing to spin wet in garden, pasture fields, shrubs, between tall grass and plants.
Huntsman Spider
Huntsman spiders is one spider of the family Sparassidae (formerly Heteropodidae), genus Palystes.
Golden Spiders
This spider is unique with a very small body, just a few millimeters in size. The body is transparent in golden yellow.

We have plenty of spiders here in Australia too, they eat all the other bugs for me which is great, anything that can minimise the flies I am keen on. :)
