Fish tilapia is a freshwater fish consumption. These fish introduced from Africa, exactly eastern part of Africa, in 1969, and is now becoming a popular pet fish in freshwater ponds in the Indonesiasekaligus pests in every river and Lake in Indonesia.
The scientific name Oreochromis niloticus is in English, and the United Kingdom known as Nile Tilapia.
Pet fish are medium size, total length (snout to tip of tail) reaches about 30 cm and sometimes there is nothing more and nothing less than that.
The dorsal fin (pinnae dorsalis) with 16-17 spines (sharp) and 11-15 fingers (soft thorns); and anal fins (pinnae analyst) with 3 spines and 8-11 fingers.
