Lily
Lily is our 4 year old tabby cat that we adopted from a couple who moved abroad. She is a very smart cat, understands basic commands and also some sign language.
Tabbies are sometimes mistakenly assumed to be a specific cat breed, but in truth, tabby refers to a specific pattern of the coat, and it's found in many breeds.
The tabby pattern is a naturally occurring feature that may have originated from the domestic cat's direct ancestor, the African wildcat.
