Lets Get a Little Cold Blooded

in #animalphotography6 years ago

For those of you out there who are lovers of the of the more slippery cold blooded nature, here are a few pictures I have taken of beautiful lizards and snakes, and as cuddly as some of these snakes might seem - I would strongly suggest that you keep a safe distance unless you are very familiar with snakes, their identification and the risks involved.

Beautiful photos! That 2nd one looks like a Black Mamba... I'd give that a REALLY wide berth!

Indeed. The Black Mamba is not a good cuddle buddy.

Yup it is indeed and the 5th one is a boom-slang - you possibly want to avoid that one too...

The third in the picture is possibly an African Rock Python.

3rd largest snake in the world, but far more aggressive than the Reticulated Python or the Green Anaconda. My dad owned one before I was born.

It's a story I know very well. That python knocked my father out with a single strike. It was only trying to defend itself and my dad was only trying to see what was wrong on the top of it's head.

Yes it is - Shit your poor dad
