I'm early, now where's my worm?!?

While out enjoying the gardens behind the Castle (Smithsonian Institution Building, Washington DC) I happened upon someone trying to rustle up some breakfast. From the looks of it he'd been at it a bit already but didn't seem to be having much luck. Although my attention wasn't appreciated, I watched for a while hoping to get a shot of it catching/eating a worm. Naturally, that never happened. I guess whoever came up with that saying never met this particular robin...
