| Anthropoids in zoos always cause conflicting feelings. It's very interesting to watch for them, they amaze with skill and ingenuity. And at the same time, I feel embarrassment from they exhibited at the zoo for people's fun. And it happens that you catch their eyes and realize that they are also in their turn watching people and, probably, draw some conclusions. | Человекообразные обезьяны в зоопарках всегда вызывают у меня противоречивые чувства. But I do not agree with you about zoos. Very many animals already simply would not exist on earth without zoos. And it's really sad.

the zoo´s in my country are just right now different´s than the other, here in Venezuela, since 20 years we get a strong socialism dictatorial goverment, so since 8 years ago the crisis here are so extreme, we dont have food or medicines, for the regular people, just like me or others... in the zoo´s a lot of animals dies here for starving... and in other´s one´s the people stolen for eatem cause we dont have food...

Oh, what a horror! It is very sad.
All this indicates a difficult situation in the country as a whole. When everything is bad, then, of course, it's bad in zoos too.
But, you know, there are often striking people at zoos. In Leningrad, during World War II, more than 160 animals were saved. Under bombs, during the blockade, when access to the city was blocked by fascists for more than 2 years. There was a terrible famine in the city. Workers at the zoo did everything they could and saved lives of animals.

Here we don´t have food at all so in the jails and in far zones from cities, like forest or very neard to country borders the people just now become a canibal, they kill some jail mates in fight and cook for eat, we had to watch the videos in ws, or fb, very disgusting but true, the same way in the farlands, some people kill tourist, or militaries or goldfingers and eat later... really badly situation over here.
