Mallard Mother with Ducklings - Anas platyrhynchos
I watched these little babies explore down the shoreline, foraging and learning.
I love their little faces and the spots on their backs. They appear so happy, though they often squabble amongst themselves.
Though this park is a pretty well taken care of, there always seems to be someone willing to put their trash where it doesn't belong. I think that is unfortunate and hope each generation can grow to be better.
I hope that you had a great day and found at least one thing to smile about. :)

I love those little balls of amazingly soft fluff that is baby ducklings, and the way the waddle around after mom.
They are so cute, I want to rub them on my face lol.
There have been so many at the park their little 'cheep'/squeaking when they lose mom almost gives me a headache.
