Ayer tomé un paseo cerca de mi casa; y de repente observé a una Paraulata ojos de candil, (Turdus nudigenis) ir y venir al mismo sitio... Por curiosidad, me acerqué y descubrí el milagro de la vida, 3 pichoncitos esperando el alimento de su madre.

Esta ave se distribuye en toda la parte norte de América del Sur, en Islas de las Antillas, en Colombia, Trinidad y Tobago, Guyana y Venezuela. Fuente

Son muuuuy exitosas en zonas urbanas, ya que es una especie omnívora, debido a que come frutas pequeñas, insectos pequeños y hasta lombrices. Además, pueden construir su nido con cualquier ramita o recurso que esté a la mano.
Como es el caso de este ejemplar, el cual decidió hacer su nido con acículas de pino.

Yesterday I took a walk near my house; and suddenly I observed a Yellow-eyed Thrush, (Turdus nudigenis) go and come to the same place ... By curiosity, I went and discovered the miracle of life, 3 little pigeons waiting for their mother's food.
This bird is distributed throughout the northern part of South America, in the Antilles Islands, in Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Venezuela. Source
They are veeeeeeeery successful in urban areas, because it is an omnivorous species, and it eats small fruits, small insects and even worms. In addition, they can build their nest with any twig or resource that is at hand.
As is the case of this specimen, which decided to make its nest with pine needles.

Happy birds and their mother or father, very nice. I like its big yellow eye sockets.
