World of Photography Contest #29 Jungfraujoch's Bird-- Switzerland
Actually, I don't really know which type of bird it is, so I just called it Jungfraujoch's bird because it stood on the top of Europe -- Jungfrau. I also don't really know how can it withstand the cold and survive at this high altitude while we are taking the pictures with shaking hands and breathing hard. It didn't afraid of people. It stood there in a cool way as if laughing at us and wondering why you silly humans were taking pictures of 'me'.
其實我真的不知道這是什麼雀，所以我叫牠少女峰的雀就算了，因為牠就站在歐洲之癲--少女峰。我也不知道為何牠可以抵受得著嚴寒和在這個高海拔上生存，而我們卻只能用疆凍及顫抖的雙手及喘氣的情況下拍照。牠一點也不怕人類。牠一動也不動地站著，擺出一副冷酷的嘴臉，就像在恥笑我們並對你們愚蠢的人類的行為感到不屑。

Hehe, don't know. Maybe the bird was offended to not be called by the correct name. Did you know that in German, Jungfrau means female virgin? Did that just totally mess up how you perceived the mountain? 😃
Oh, I really don't know that. Because in the translation of Jungfrau in Chinese is 少女 which means young girl. No clue if she is a virgin or not haha.
Actually... Jungfrau in German has two meanings, and one of them really is "young woman". But I thought it would be funnier to use the other meaning here. 😏
I didn't know if such things get translated literally or just to "sound similar" in languages which are not based on the latin alphabet. Interesting to hear that it really goes by the meaning.
