This small band of caribou are often spotted
along the Kenai river and the escape road.
We pulled over to get some shots, they were
about a 1/4 th. of a mile away.

the wetlands.

But these look to be to be bigger than Peary Caribou right? What kind of Caribou are these?
A few different bands reintroduced heard of herds.
Looked up the Peary, hard to tell who's bigger,
want to say the peary looks bigger, but not sure.
Those Canadian caribou sure are pretty!
Did I tell you besides the stump I also got
some caribou horns from grandpa :-)
