Squirrel wanders around raised planters searching for nuts
Ive heard without these little guys, forests would not be as dense as they are. I just wish they would stay out of my attic. These squirrels run around the yard, and look for places to bury nuts. Sometimes they will store them in my attic, I have found many tree nuts quite cleaning out the spaces up in the attic.
They also bury them and then forget where they put them. And some become trees, I was told by @ryulincoln that Georgia is so densely forested due to our large squirrel population. So I guess this is a good thing, but for the most part they are rodents to me.

I think they like my planters because they can get to loose dirt easily. Though I will weed out any sproutlings if in the likely case the squirrel forgets about his stash in my blueberry planter.
They wander around the yard, smelling, searching for their buried nuts. I rarely see them find them.
Maybe they are in this planter, it searched around in the container for nuts as well.
It moved onto other areas of the yard, out of view and im sure it will be back in the future.

The squirrels make a mess of the bird feeders in my yard. They are fun to watch until they destroy things.
@nat-expressions hah yeah they are notorious for that. Some special designs are needed to keep them off of them.

To see a squirrel in an odd place such as an attic.has a symbolic meaning to it.what are squirrel known for? Preparation .to see a squirrel means to prepare.for what?only you have the answer to that question.
@originalathena in georgia it's common. Look at our terrain and we live in and on boarders of forest. So squirrels try to make homes in warm attics during the winter
