All reptiles hatch out of eggs but some hatch inside their mother's body. Some reptiles including most of those that live in cold places anf the sea snakes do not lay their eggs but hold them inside their bodies. Mostly these eggs have very thin shells and eventually the young break through and are born fully formed from their mother's body. She doesn't look after them beyond birth.
