MORE DUCKS SOON ENOUGH COME!
The eggs are getting ready!
We've enjoyed having ducks for some years now, and they keep reproducing! This year we plan on hatching out however many we can, and whatever we don't need we plan on offering for sale. The cute little ducklings are bug-eating machines and if left to themselves, they do an excellent job feeding themselves too.
At the moment we've got one male and five females, and I think we'll see the first of the ducklings for this year hatch in the next week or so. Four of the females are already getting nests ready, and one of them (in the green bin) has been sitting for a while now. Here's some photos, and soon we hope to have some baby duckling photos to share soon enough!

They are beautiful birds and I am so happy to hear they are flourishing.... like everyone and everything on your abundant harvest homestead!! They are great bug chompers yes bless them!

I’m hoping to get a few more hen Runner Ducks. I currently have 4 but I think I need a couple more because I have 2 drakes. Their eggs are delicious hard boiled, scrambled and for cooking. Don’t forget to take those hard boiled eggs and make egg salad with those bad boys.
