I've heard about this anime when I was looking for Fall 2018 recommendations. The trailer didn't really catch my attention. The sports genre isn't really my cup of tea. But it's on the list of genres to explore if I run out of shows on my to view list.
yea that's how i got into the sports genre too. I run out of anime and manga of the genres i like, then checked the 2 best ones out of the sport genre which are kuroko no basket and haikyu, i liked them a lot and that's pretty much the story :P
