Goblin slayer is a brilliant series, that shows what is it like to live on a world like that, I read the manga so I know what I'm talking about.
Somehow it reminds me of Grimgar: of Fantasy and Ash an anime that gave me a similar feeling.
yes you are right, what ties them both is the "reality" in a world like that. You keep hearing or seeing how awesome a world like an mmorpg is or will be, everyone wanna be there if that was possible or real and then these manga-anime basically told them "fuck you kids this what is gonna happen in reality" or something like this :P
