Nice review.
I actually haven't heard of this anime... and I definitely won't be giving it a try. If the story is entralling, animes pretty much suck to me, no matter how great their graphics or fight scenes are.
The sad thing is, from your review, That time I got Reincarnated as a Slime actually had some good story potential, with the different species, characters and backstories.
