In many communities in India, a particular combination of stars at the time of human's birth is considered as Manglik dosh. And the person with this astrology at the time of birth is considered as a Manglik. It is considered as a sign of bad luck. But this doesn't mean bad luck is with that person but this means if that person marries then his partner is going to have bad luck or his partner can die early. To avoid this, Manglik has to marry with an animal or with a tree so that all the bad luck will go with them. Then they can marry again with human without having to carry the bad omen. Usually, bride with Manglik dosh has to marry animal or tree but if the groom is Manglik, he can cleanse his bad luck by performing pooja only.

If a child is born with tooth then people in India consider it as a bad omen. It is believed that the child has spell on him if he is born with tooth. To get rid of it they have to marry with animal or tree so that their future partner will not have any kind of danger.
