Sight seeing
I went sight seeing yesterday. Touring the ancient city of Ibadan.
Ibadan is a beautiful modern city which has somehow managed to preserve old architectural structures. These can be found in the core of the city.
Ile Oluyole (home of Oluyole - a Monarch), the home of many firsts in Nigeria and Africa at large, the people of Ibadan are hospitable and nice. They speak the conc. Yoruba language beautifully.
In the olden days, you'd see Ibadan indigenes rocking tribal marks according to family and status.
If you do visit, ensure you try the local delicacy, Amala (yam flour pudding) and abula (a combination of corchorus leaves and beans flour soup).
