Oh wow thats a great way of doing it, no people and counting and organizing required like here! I love it and hope it comes to British Columbia Canada soon!
The container refund scheme only came to Queensland in November so it’s all quite new. We’ve been going to another place that does the counting and sorting by hand but you can get cash or a bank deposit in a few days. There was a huge line up in the scorching hot sun so we went a few more Kms onto this other company’s depot for the first time. Only a short wait but at least it was in the shade with big fans. @the-hunter loved watching the process of belts and chutes sorting to containers into their respective cube pallets. @frobear was a massive help passing to items to me to feed into the maw of the recycling machines. Only down side was having to do glass at one machine and plastic bottles / aluminium cans at another. We used the wait time to download their app and link it to my PayPal. The credit was in their before we had the box’s back in the car.
Wow it's still pretty cool, I like it! I forgot you were in the middle of summer there, I seen how hot it is right now "down under" lol , Stay cool my friend!😉☀️🌡️🌞
