Haha it's called Mate :) Comes from South America...it's a tea with coffeine-like effects..like, for real.First I was like: "this has to be some healthy lifestyle bullshit, coffee is just one". But now, it really wakes me up better than coffee. Weird :D
Ohh, I see. I know MATE, we drink it sometimes. But my wife always carefully filter away all the grasses leaves ets, before serving. That is why I did not recognise it.
All your posts don’t have to be huge, statistics laden thesiseses. Sometimes the short ones give a neat quick glimpse and you get to talk more about what you are thinking.
I feel you though as I do the same thing labouring over not being able to put 30 minutes into a post.

Sounds like that. I mean, I am no specialist and on the internet you can find that even smoking (cigarretes :D) is healthy...so I always take everything I read online with a grain of salt...But form my own experience, it's just sooo much better than coffee. The increase of energy is just more steady...I don't have the energy dump after 2 hours like with coffee. + it's lot more water than coffee. Coffee itself is dehydrating you. At least that's what is kinda generally believed. This one isnt + it actually contains much more water itself...
That sums up my broscience :D But I really really feel much better after going cca 60% mate and 40% coffee then before when I was drinking coffee only.

It's also pretty cheap btw..at least here in Europe...cuz noone knows it really. You can buy it only in Turkish and Syrian shops tho. They know it's good and import it from South America.
