We’ve had a summer without storms so this one is welcome. We should get a thunderstorm most afternoons in December/ January but haven’t had 1 for over 6 weeks. Humidity through the roof. Hopefully get get some cool rain but just fizz crack and bang going on.
Wow very cool. This type of storm structure is pretty common here on the East coast of Australia in the summer.
This one is in Sydney which is about 1200km South of where I live. It was a strong southerly wind change moving up the coast. If this video was filmed yesterday morning the same wind change just went past here at 5 am this morning.
I hope it's not too bad there.
