Tropical House Design Progression - 3d Model and Photoshop
I designed a tropical house that has some pretty unique forms. The roofs angle to allow for rainfall to run off and the plan is a very unusual diamond configuration, which combines with the slope of the roof creates an interesting overall shape and composition. There is a pool that follows the same general plan design.
This design was first sketched, then built in a 3d modeling program called Rhino. In order to get a better sense of how this modern tropical house might look in reality I decided to do some quick photoshop work that I’d like to share with you.
Below you’ll see a few screenshots showing the different layers created in photoshop. Many elements, including building elements were added in the post production phase rather than in the 3d model.

The garden design is dreamy. Wish I had that :) But its a shame about the house covering the epic mountain landscape in the background ... Apart from that, it's very cool!
