Types of dates // أنواع التمور
Morocco is one of the best producing countries because of the variety and quality of its varieties. It has more than 6.6 million palm trees distributed over 51 thousand hectares, making it the seventh largest in the world and the third in the Maghreb, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Morocco produces 18 varieties of dates, the quality of which varies between high quality, medium and low quality dates. During the last agricultural season (2015/2016), it produced more than 12,800 tons of dates, distributed on four sides, namely, Daraa Tafilalet, The countryside, Souss Massa, Guelmim and Ned.
"The Depth" visited the international exhibition of dates, which concluded on Sunday in Erfoud, with the participation of 220 exhibitors from 15 countries across the world, and prepared a list of dates produced by Morocco
يتميز المغرب أنه واحدا من أفضل الدول المنتجة للتمور، نظرا لتنوع أصنافها وجودتها ، حيث يتوفر على أزيد من 6.7 مليون شجرة نخيل موزعة على ما يقارب 51 ألف هكتار، وهو ما جعله يحتل المرتبة السادسة دوليا والثالثة مغاربيا، حسب وزارة الفلاحة.
وينتج المغرب 18 نوعا من التمور، تختلف جودتها بين التمر العالي الجودة، والمتوسط والضعيف الجودة، حيث أنتج خلال الموسم الفلاحي المنصرم (2015/2016)، أزيد من 12 ألف و800 طن من التمور، موزعة على 4 جهات، وهي درعة تافيلالت، الجهة الشرقية الريف، سوس ماسة، كلميم واد نون.
