Mind maps depend on the branches and images and the use of multiple colors to express a person's thoughts, so it facilitates the process of review and remembering.

• The mental map turns scientific material into an interesting and boring material for students in the educational process.
• Contribute to cover all the information contained in the article in a brief manner and includes all aspects.
• Helps the person to link the information he has with each other to facilitate the process of understanding and conservation.
• Taking into account the individual differences between students because each student draws a mental map to suit his abilities and comprehension.
• Reduce the amount of words used in educational explanations, which motivates students to focus and attention more.

Steps to prepare the mental map

There are two ways to make mental maps

• The first method: the electronic method in which we use certain programs to implement these maps, including the program (FreeMind), and the program (MindMapper).

• Method 2: It is a manual method and you only need to use white paper, pen and some colors.
  To use this method we must follow these steps:

• At the beginning we get a white paper and draw in the middle of a circle and write inside the main subject using words easy to remember.

• We draw branches from the center of the circle in the form of curved lines.

• We define a specific word for each branch as a main key and we use colors and expressive images that reflect the idea of ​​the branch.

• We use secondary branches of branches and use simple words.

• You can continue drawing branches until you finish the main idea that we are working on.

• In the end we will get an integrated tree that explains the subject in all its aspects.

تعرف "الخرائط الذهنية" أنها إحدى وسائل التعبير عن أفكار الانسان عن طريق المخططات بدلا عن كتابة الفقرات.

فوائد الخريطة الذهنيّة

وللخرائط الذهنية فوائد عديدة أذكر بعضها هنا:

• تحول الخريطة الذهنية المادة العلمية إلى مادة مشوقة وغير مملة للطلاب في العملية التعليمية.
• تساهم في تغطية جميع المعلومات التي توجد في المادة بأسلوب مختصر ويشمل كافة الجوانب.
• تساعد الشخص على ربط المعلومات التي لديه ببعضها كي تسهل عملية الفهم والحفظ.
• تراعي الفروق الفردية بين الطلاب لأن كل طالب يرسم خريطة ذهنية تناسب قدراته واستيعابه.
• تعمل على تقليل كمية الكلمات المستخدمة في الشروحات التعليمية مما يحفز الطلاب على التركيز والانتباه بصورة اكبر.

خطوات إعداد الخريطة الذهنيّة

توجد طريقتين لإعداد الخرائط الذهنية

• الطريقة الأولى: وهي الطريقة الالكترونية وفيها نستخدم برامج معينة للقيام بتنفيذ هذه الخرائط، ومنها برنامج (FreeMind)، وبرنامج (MindMapper).

• الطريقة الثانية:وهي الطريقة اليدوية وتحتاج فقط إلى استخدام ورقة بيضاء وقلم وبعض الألوان.
  ولاستخدام هذه الطريقة يجب علينا اتباع الخطوات التالية:

• في البداية نحضر ورقة بيضاء ونرسم في منتصفها دائرة ونكتب بداخلها الموضوع الرئيسي وذلك باستخدام كلمات سهلة التذكر.

• نقوم برسم تفرعات تنطلق من مركز الدائرة على شكل خطوط منحنية.

• نحدد كلمة معينة لكل فرع كمفتاح رئيسي ونستخدم الالوان وصور تعبيرية تعبر عن فكرة الفرع.

• نستخدم تفرعات ثانوية من الفروع ونستخدم كلمات بسيطة.

• يمكن الاستمرار برسم الفروع إلى حين الانتهاء من الفكرة الرئيسية التي نعمل عليها.

• في النهاية سوف نحصل على شجرة متكاملة تشرح الموضوع من كافة جوانبه.
