I hate to see this. But, as you say, the writing was on the wall with the Activision merger. Richard Garriott (lord British) hasn't been shy about telling how when EA bought Origin, they basically immediately gutted the company, firing or depowering everyone, and just used the name as long as they could. I wouldn't be surprised to learn the same happened here. Such a shame. I have also been following Blizzard since I bought Warcraft 1 all those years ago. Oh well. All things end, eh?
