Today I take you to GhodaTabela, Lantang, Nepal(Horse Stable in English), a place so beautiful, you will be mesmerized. This, a part of the trekking I did about one and half month ago(Yes that lantang one!). I was planning to do it sooner but as you might know, procrastination is my religion.

And you might be asking, "Why today?". My answer to that is if I don't do it today, I might even forget the memories and also I need to report this journey so that I can relive it in the future.
Also, I want to clear my gallery by posting all of them at once so that I have nothing to post for the coming days and I am forced to go out and shoot some.

THE ACTUAL POST

The second day of our trek started with a gloomy morning and our hopes were down as the day before was no better. But wait, this post is not a weather rant as I have already done it enough in my posts before.

Gloomy Start to the second day.

We walked amidst the jungle not knowing where we were going when we saw a gleam of hope. But again, this post is not about mountains but about a place called Horse Stable. Weird right?

Hope becoming real

Excited and encouraged, we started walking along the river trails and weather was becoming more lucid. We never knew the trail was so beautiful until that moment.

Clouds still dark but we were hoping for better

The same sounds of the river, we were uninterested on the day before, was now a melody with the river so clear and so beautiful and I couldn't stop taking photos.

And then we crossed this beautiful river, which had remains of the old bridge, to enter the wonderland.

The gateway to the wonderland

(All this suspense and you might already be bored.LOL)
But then, we entered the land of paradise, the Ghoda Tabela. At the entrance, we were greeted by Deers and later monkeys. But I forgot to take photos because I was in a bliss(also they were too far away and zoom lens is too heavy for a trek). Besides, serene sounds of the waterfalls all around and colors of the wild amazed us.

We started seeing the rest house and the place was getting even more amazing. We were like shouting and jumping and what not!

I had never seen something so beautiful. The only word I had in my mind was Heaven. The view superseded the lands of my dreams. We had no idea where to look and sometimes we were walking backwards and sometimes forward.

Help me where do I look?

Now we reached the rest house and put down our bags to shoot some time-lapses, panoramas and I also have a 360 image for you below.

First, lets start with a wide angle view of the front and back side of the place.

Now, lets enjoy some panoramas, shall we?

Then an old lady came towards us asking if we would have our lunch there. This made us realize that we had forgotten about eating too(The Ghoda Tabela Effect). So, I setup a tripod stand to take a time-lapse of the place and we went inside this beautiful house to have our lunch.

THE TIME-LAPSE

The place is named Ghoda Tabela because its actually a horse stable but we couldn't see any horses. Here, you can rent a horse to carry you across the trail. However, we saw some mules and I felt sorry for these load carriers.

I felt sorry for these ones. They had to carry two cylinders each weighing about 15 kg

We had planned for a 1 hr stay there but ended up staying for entire 4 hrs and it wasn't still enough. But the clouds started moving fast and we had to leave the place saying goodbye.

Goodbye!

Those are some awesome picks. I especially liked the time lapse I love watching clouds roll around the mountains. Man, I think we share the same religion, perhaps we should start the first steem church of procrastination....
In a remote place like that where were the mules carrying the gas cylinders too? To the rest area you were in?

Yep and we can be fathers LOL.
You will be amazed to see 4 to 5 storied house at the final stop, the place at 3900m. The place is quite rural except at the resting locations or the main locations.
Thank you so much. Hope you enjoyed it a lot.

lol, I'm probably closer to a Bishop.... but I think my son may qualify for the Pope someday...

I very much enjoyed it, that will be cool to see when you get it posted....

If you see clearly you can see upto 4 storied houses here and this is at the highest stop i.e. 3900m.

Want to explore more? you can find the link to my previous post(at 3900m) here:

That is pretty cool, I would love it as long as I had satellite internet.... So I could get some work done. I bet you would need solar power as well... Hmmmm.

Congratulations! This is an amazing post. Very well structured and funny...quite catchy. 🙂
I was hoping to see some horses but I guess they disguised in mules. 😂
Cool shots. I really liked the waterfalls. Great job, my lazy friend! 👍

About 1 and half month for this post LOL. I think i just made a world record.

My only suggestion is click on that image with 360 written on it and go around yourself if you haven't done that already.

I did it. I'm mesmerised. And I liked the time lapse as well. You really worked for this post. I'm so proud of you.

Thank you so much. I just have some time-lapses on youtube and nothing else, dtube doesn't quite work for me.
Very glad that you loved it.

What's wrong with @dtube ? I think it would be worth to figure out why you're having problems with them.

Doesn't let me upload. As simple as that. Its the case with most of the steemians.

HahI first just scrolled thru the post and was almost sure this is Nepal. Just cuz of all those mountains and environment. Then I saw those horses and I'd bet my parents house on it (I don't have my own hahha:D)

And then I scrolledback up and immediately got my gratification as you said it's nepal! I was there in summer 2016. Just for a week, in Chitwan and Annapurna. What an amazing and picturesque country it is.

And the 360 picture. I thought for a second that Steemit implenmented some iframe way how to show these here. That got me suuuperexcited haha :D But then I've read the description :D

We so need iframe, don't we? Maybe we can raise an issue using git or utopian.

Don't bet on them yet as all of them are mules LOL.
Yes chitwan is great. You must have done elephant and jeep safari and spotted some Rhinos.
I did Annapurna trekking about 1 years ago and is definitely one of the best treks I have done.
By the looks of your small profile photo, I am definitely sure its Nepal.

Thanks so much, mate!

Oh yeah, that totally is Nepal. Dhaulagiri :) And nope in Chitwas we've done everywhing on our own feet :) But yeah, we've seen many wild animals in safari. Sadly, no tiger. Or maybe thanks god :D

I once observed a great avalanche, so close yet so safely, falling from the Dhaulagiri peak, at a place called Siklesh and it was amazing.
That safari on feet must have been so enthraling.

Well the avalanche must have been even more stunning tho! Those mountains were soooooo huge!

Beautiful trail. I like trails leading you through different landscapes and this one was like this. Is this river created by melting snow or does it have a source in the ground?

And it looks like a nice relaxing trail. Did you have any steep ascents on the way?

These poor horses. The bags that they have to carry are completely loaded and look very heavy. I can imagine there is no other way to transport goods there than by using the animals? I would like to hope that there would be a different solution to it.

I love your photos. The nature there is beautiful. It indeed looks like a wonderland or a magical forest :)

Thank you for sharing!

I am so glad that you loved this wonderland. It means a lot when people read and respond to your travel memories.

Is this river created by melting snow or does it have a source in the ground?

It is created by melting snow. I have posted the glacial lake on the post linked at the bottom of this post.

Did you have any steep ascents on the way?

The first day was a bit steep but this is an easy route and its straight and easy most of the time. We did it pre-season, so weather made it a bit difficult for us. But it is definitely an easy trek.

can imagine there is no other way to transport goods there than by using the animals?

There are helipads but helicopters are too expensive to carry everything. And of course, these are trails and not actual roadways.
