Consider this a glimpse of how magical nature, fun activities, a beautiful weather, and maybe being forced to stay together for more than 24 hours can transform a group of strangers (well some of them were old friends but most of them were strangers) into an almost brotherhood. Now we call ourselves "Les Gladiateurs" and we're proud of the experience that made us meet each other.

Some of us were used to camping, maybe even more then they are used to living amongst "civilized" humans, but some of us were living their first night in the wild. We came from all the corners of Tunisia to spend a night in one of the most beautiful places in our small--and yet very full of surprises--country.

Oued abid is a combination of an amazing sand beach, a little desert of white sand where you can find "oasis" where sea plants grow, a river, a wild forest, a natural source of water, and an old abandoned building, all in no more than a one hour walk!
