Это так называемый канадский стиль, я на Голосе ворота в их ДОК выставлял...
Я смотрел на Эксплорере как в Канаде дома ставят. Там такие брёвнышки применяют здоровенные.
И хотел про это в прошлом своем комменте написать. А оказалось, что и правда дело пахнет Канадой.
