In the last few weeks, I was in BSD city, this area is my second hometown. I settled in this city from 11 years ago. BSD City is an area located in Serpong district, South Tangerang, with distance via Toll Road which takes about 30 minutes from the capital of Jakarta, Indonesia.

Formerly this area is a vacant lot that is only inhabited by local residents.
According to the local community, about 20 years ago this area was a stretch of rubber forest, and the road was dirt and dust, and there was also a military base.

This area used to be an alternative route to the city of Bogor, West Java. But at night, many people are afraid to pass through this area because the robbers are hanging around and they are not reluctant to kill.

Since 2005 this area is occupied by many foreigners who live and work in this city.
BSD is an abbreviation of Bumi Serpong Damai that was built quickly by a prominent developer named Sinar Mas Land and cooperated with Japanese architects. The facilities provided in this city include office areas, education, trade, entertainment, and tourism, as well as housing.

BSD City is the largest urban land project in Indonesia, with the slogan "Big City, Big Opportunity" to promote BSD City. The city is known as a satellite city with modern classical minimalist style.
The city has dozens of housing groups, there are also schools from several other countries, such as Germany, Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
The city also hosts international automotive exhibitions, but I hate it when there are events in this city, because it will be filled by visitors from all regions, and the city is crowded. Fortunately, big events are not every month held, so I can relax enjoy this city.
Unequal the crowded city of Jakarta, the city of BSD is a solution for Jakarta and surrounding residents who want to live relaxed.
