Biggest Mall in Cebu

SM Seaside City Cebu is one of the first developments in the master plan of SM Prime Holdings for their 30-hectare space at the South Road Properties (SRP), a prime property development project on reclaimed land located a few meters from Cebu’s central business district.

Designed by Arquitectonica, an international architecture, interior design and planning firm from Miami, Florida, It is one of the biggest destinations in my City. It's the only mall in Central Visayas that contains an Ice Skating Rink, thus why I've considered it my second home, since I'm always here to train.

I love the minimalistic concept it has. It's easy to find your way around, all sections are very organized. There are sections where there are only food, all the beauty clinics and aesthetic areas are in one floor, all clothing boutiques in one floor, etc.

Since it's by the sea, the structure of the mall itself is kind of wavy. The shape of the corridors as well is wavy. I love the modern aesthetic of the structure. Glass windows, glass rails, the color scheme of the tiles, it's all very aesthetically pleasing for me.

The spiral staircases differ in color as to what wing you're in, they're very pleasing to the eyes. But actually going down on them makes one dizzy. It's good for exercise and if the elevators are full. I truly can say that I know SM Seaside like the back of my hand. Staying here almost everyday, to the point where I even get to play with the dogs in the K9 unit sometimes. The guards recognize me and I make friends with the elevator operators. Tis' a second home indeed :D
