Nikol Pashinyan, who led the nonviolent protest movement that improbably toppled the government of Armenia, had just ended a brief interview and headed into another room when he whirled around. He said off as an opposition leader, but his nonviolent movement has earned him the position of a Prime Minister. Protest started after a long term president became a Prime Minister. Armenia is a small country in Eastern Europe. It had its independence in 1991 from the former Soviet Union and it is bordered to the north by Russian Federation and to the west by Turkey and south east by Azberjian. Both it's western and Eastern neighbors are considered enemies as Turkey has blocked it's borders With Armenia. Armenia still expects Turkey to accept it's role in the deaths of many Armenians in the early 1900 considered by Armenia as the Armenian genocide which Turkey currently denies. The new Prime Minister would have a lot of work to do which includes improves lives, creating jobs, living standards and reforming the electoral process as well as eradicating corruption. Many analyst believes there would be a shift from a Russian interest dominated politics.
Kudos to the Armenians.
