Dreaming of the sea
Hello, friends! Today I want to show my next drawing, which I did after reading a poem that I liked the fact that its meaning was very similar to my dream.
It was about a girl dreaming of the sea. The exact translation from Russian is too complicated, but I will try to show You a few lines.
I want - closer to the sea, where empty-empty
where roads are without any marks
I want to live without arguing
without arguing with anyone
I'm not a siren or a feminist.,
I want to live by the sea
in one set
with a lighthouse and a Horde of seagulls
I'm tired and want to live without sadness:
I want something so rarely ...

And here is the finished drawing. I used black paper for mixed techniques (A4, 150 gr.), watercolor paints, brush synthetics № 7 and № 4.

It is too difficult for me to translate this poem verbatim to convey the emotions it describes. Russian is very versatile, and my English is too bad for that.
