Will they sing your legend?

How do you remember your childhood? How much do you remember? Considering all the possible stories from, your brother, sister or parents versions of the same events, which one to you seem as the most romanticized one.
We tend to remember things in a way where we are the main character, gaining or achieving, creating or simply suffering.
Our memories tell us that we have been victims, making others executioners or torturers. In some cases, we have been clever heroes and others have been mere prey.
How would others sing your legend right now? Would they? All or our greatness is praised at our funeral, and all of the love we didn’t even know existed for us, flourishes in many kind words. How many will miss us, or if any one at all, becomes very public once they learn we have died.
Have you ever found yourself crying over the suffering or the death of a fictional character? Could you tell that story over a drink, coffee or beer? Can you convey the same emotion as the author or actor made you feel it? We still live and tell legends, for better or worse. Fictional archetypes or news stories give us a feeling of how much better our lives are or how in danger we are. Both feelings strike a special fiber in us and push emotions we regularly don’t show.
Every commercial is a romanticized version of a product or service, we always know how immensely different reality is and that itself, is a legend. How many have believed the romantic story we have told of our own selves. Who believes you or your partner when you tell about your wedding, how you first met? How do you remember being successful in one or another occasion, have you been able to repeat that success and can you teach it to others? Will they tell your legend later? At a table after work, will they talk about how good you are at your trade? I really like to think I can give a topic for conversation over an evening coffee to more than one steemian, but that is still to be seen. My little ego speaking.
Legends have many forms and shapes. They are hardly close to the truth, and because of that ability to tell legends, to make stories come close to a real feeling, we gather, listen, and, more mundanely, we buy stuff.
What is the legend you can tell to make other buy your ideas? Trust me I need pointers in order to sell the gazillion ideas I have. Most likely, that will be my legend, right? How did I learn to sell ideas.
