Deep Sea album cover
A while back I did a drawing of an old diver surrounded by all kinds of sea creatures. The drawing sort of blew up on reddit and hit the front page with over 550,000 views.
7x7" pen drawing for album.
From the piece that sort of went viral... not much actually came from it to be honest. I sold a couple pieces and got this commission. The client wanted a very similar look for his album. A diver that was surrounded by creatures, but also holding a lantern with an anchor attached to his foot.

It was a very fun commission to do. The client is also very happy. Win win all around.

Excellent! Very beautiful drawing and a bit... dark, in my opinion, which is a good thing. In the cover, I can't help seeing Cthulhu somewhere in the shadows, drawn in harsh inks, lurking behind all the frightful creatures. In the reddit one, I think I see him obviously, or rather he sees us....I always enjoy your works, glorious black & white and intense themes.
Oh yeah, there is a version of Cthulhu in the older drawing. Good eyes!

Whoa this is such a neat and super detailed drawing. I really like how you put all things together to vreate this image using hatching and scribbling.
