Minneapolis Skyline Painting Finds An Audience

A while back, I sent images of my work to a Minneapolis visual arts group called Art Force. They declined, but suggested I submit something for a larger hang at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

This piece was accepted. My wife and I went down the other night to check it out, ridicule the other art, and vandalize anything that looked better than mine.

The Minneapolis Convention Center is about as large as a football stadium. You could fit every missing airplane from every conspiracy theory ever in that place, and still have space for JFK's Magic Bullet trajectory.

We were a bit surprised, however, to realize that there was only one other artist besides mine chosen. In other words, it is featured nearly exclusively.

What an honor! There will probably be half a million home and garden, boat show, old fashioned automobile, and whatever other events go on in that place, people walking by and getting a look at this piece before now and Christmas.

I hope it sells. It is rough out here for an artist. We are down to eating squirrels from the live trap.

Thank you for reading.
