It is so true ! My dad died in 1990 due to Alzheimer in the age of 63, I had a dog, but when I left the house in 86 the dog became my dads best friend, my mum took care of her, but my dad was his mate, when my dad died, my 60 year old mum feld so lonely. The dog pulled her out hard times, like came too ask to be let out, while the dog could open the door her self! going to sit on my dads space, like she said I miss him too. A dog is a real real friend.
