Solitary
Charcoal, for me is one of those mediums which is intimidating to use but also very tempting at the same time. Intimidating because I have this fear of making things messy and tempting because.. well.. it’s charcoal lol!
These days I have a lot of ideas about creating something related to outer space as I like to dwell upon these subjects and somehow it led to this. I am thinking of doing a series of artworks with astronauts and space as a theme, let’s see how that goes! :D
I love the texture and contrast of this page. This illustration does not have a literal interpretation but I had the same thought of looseness in my mind, which astronauts experience in a gravity devoid space.
