6. Louis Raemaeker

During World War I, no more influential cartoonist than Louis Raemaekers from Holland. This cartoonist was charged with "endangering Dutch neutrality," his cartoon made Germany to offer a reward of 12,000 guilders for arrest him, alive or dead. A German newspaper concludes that once Germany wins the war, they will demand compensation for every caricature made by Raemaekers.

7. Philip Zec

On January 8, 1942, Philip Zec cartoon's in London The Daily Mirror showed an exhausted, torpedoed British sailor adrift in the Atlantic with the headline: " The price of petrol has been increased by one penny — Official " This cartoon caused a political uproar that threatened the existence of the newspaper and caused him to be labeled as a traitor. Even Winston Churcil ordered the M15 agent to investigate this cartoonist's background. the cartoon was meant to illustrate that the waste of fuel had serious consequences in terms of the risks (and life lost) of the sailors who brought in the oil at that time.

8. David Low

Lord Halifax, the overseas secretary, told the caricature publisher:

You will not be able to imagine the mess caused by this caricature. Because the caricature showed Hitler's figures, it is certain that this caricature made Germany panic. But David Low responded casually to Hitler's reaction, of course a dictator would be inflamed when criticized.

9. Der Sturmer

Every week, Der Sturmer, the anti-Semitic Nazi weekly magazine that famous for the slogan "Jews is Our Misfortune", features a caricature of a very ill-faced Jewish figure. After the war finished, 24 magazine team was charged with crimes against peace. Jules Streicher, the editor was executed by hanging and cremated at Dachau.

10. David Levine

In more than 30 years of The Nation magazine, only once (in spring 1984) the staff rallied the staff at David Levine's office with a petition (signed by 25 people in the office who David thought only 23 people), demanded that we would not publish something - and that something is a caricature of Henry Kissinger. "screwing the world." The reason for the objection is: "... a progressive magazine has no business using rape jokes and sexist images to make the controversy that Kissinger Revels dominates the world.Okay, Kissinger is a man, but the earth is not a woman.
