Saulius Vaitiekūnas, exhibition

in #art5 years ago

I was at the opening of the exhibition in the art gallery for the first time, and this happened in January in Vilnius, where we were a group of 5 friends and me. We visited the exhibition of the artist Saulius Vaitiekūnas. It is so strange - to communicate with the author, to receive comments during the exposure of those who are in the know ... and eat pistachios))) And I just have no words from what I saw there))

  1. Requiem for the orchestra (the orchestra was gone, left instruments, musical staff and chaos);
  2. The art of politics is the art of magic;
  3. Rosary (used millstones);
  4. Bon Voyage (shovels for tossing bread and rolls into the oven, installed on concrete slabs and resembling oars);
  5. A wall of stones collected on the beach and inlaid with silver.

And this is not all that was at the exhibition, but if you want to see more, then visit the exhibition. Each exhibit has its own history, it is very interesting to watch the train of thought of the artist.

Well, since we are sketchers, we decided to draw a little bit.

Do you often go to exhibitions? Have you been to the opening?

All my paintings can be bought for sbd/steem

Thank you for watching!

what greatly intrigues me was the millstones upcycled as rosary. That is quite an interesting piece.

Fascinating pieces.

Enjoyed your post.
