Skyscraper "Vysotsky"

The Vysotsky skyscraper, built in the center of Yekaterinburg in 2011 near Malysheva-Karl Liebknecht-Krasnoarmeyskaya Street, for 4 years was the tallest building in the city until the Iset tower, erected in 2015, turned out to be 20 m higher.However, the observation deck on the 52nd floor of the Vysotsky business center still remains the main urban point of the circular view, located at a level of 186 m above the ground. On the floor below are the panoramic VIP rooms of the Vysotsky Hotel, on the 53rd the Eco-Spa is working, and on the roof of the business center there is a helipad. 

Vysotsky is the tallest skyscraper in Russia, located outside of Moscow. The height of this building, whose construction was completed in 2011, is 188 meters and has 54 floors.The construction of a new landmark in Yekaterinburg was overshadowed by a number of scandals: in particular, several architectural monuments of the 19th century were torn down for high-rise construction. Interestingly, the opening ceremony was attended by the son of Vladimir Vysotsky, Nikita. The family of the poet and actor officially allowed Yekaterinburg skyscraper to give the name of Vysotsky, although Vladimir Vysotsky visited Yekaterinburg only two times, on tour. 

On the territory of the business center, the Vysotsky Museum also opened: there are personal belongings of the bard, photographs, as well as meticulous reconstruction of the hotel room in which Vysotsky lived during a tour.For tourists, a skyscraper is valuable mainly because its viewpoint offers the best view of the city. It is located on the 52nd floor, the radius of view is about 25 kilometers. Admire the views of the best, accompanied by the "Radio Guide": you can learn a lot about the history of the city and its monuments. On the 51st floor there is a miserable restaurant “Vertical”, on the 37th floor - “Vlady Bar”.
