Ideas
Straws
There's something mesmerizing about these colors and the electrifying effect of these straws. The patterns and geometric color divisions make it seem like they are dancing. Or we should be dancing to them!
Boat
It would be so weird if the color of the water could instantly change. Especially if you were driving a boat! Even just a split second of the color changing away from our usual blue or green water look, it feels extremely uncomfortable.
Umbrella
The color changing patterns on these umbrellas are almost feel digital.
Flower
This is the only one that we didn't use just simply color change. The flower starts off as painted and blue, and transitions into a purple. Instead of it being painted purple, it's the original photo. That's why there's this blurred effect that looks so peculiar.
Bubble
Like a small version of our earth, this bubble pulls us in to a world of ever changing color. It's really neat how the bubble changes color, but all around it stays the same.
What do my fellow Steemians think of these animated gifs we made. Do they make you hypnotized or just plain dizzy?
Good stuff! I'd like to see how this might be applied to maps to (colorfully) highlight changes over time. Like growth or decline of cities, spread of disease, etc. ... WWTS? (What would Tufte say?)
