I am very lucky because it is the city where my sister lives with my dear nephew and so I can live this wonderful city when I need it.
Famous for its historical monuments, for the unique historical center in preserving structures of various ancient ages and especially for the intact 16th-century walls, it is a remarkable Italian art city.

It's a unique opportunity for me as an art teacher and painter. Often I stop to look at the monuments of ancient beauty such as the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro.

This fantastic square is built on the remains of the ancient Roman amphitheater (2nd century AD), which determined its closed elliptical shape.

Porta Sant'Anna was opened in 1910 to facilitate the outgoing traffic and entry into the western part of the city, as Porta San Donato, open in the seventeenth century was, for defensive reasons, not quite convenient for the needs of motorized traffic.
