Schoenen Montag euch suessen!

heute hab ich etwas anderes fuer euch
zwar noch etwas kuenstlerisches aber keine zeichnung
wie ich in einen meiner ersten beitraege schrieb modelier ich auch figuerchen und/oder schmuck
und vor geraumer zeit kam mir dann die idee ein fanartprojekt zur spielreihe The Legend of Zelda zu machen
schwerpunkt hierbei lag auf den kleinen Krogs aus dem spiel Wind Waker

ich fand die damals schon total niedlich und hatte dann ein paar fixe skizzen zu der idee gemacht
mein vater gab mir dann fuer den projekt untergrund eine grose plastik"leinwand"
hab eine hand voll der Krogs mit ihren niedlichen blaettermasken und den Hauptkrog Makorus mit seiner geige aus Fimo Air geformt
zuvor hab ich (um material zu sparen) aus kuechenpapier und etwas frischhaltefolie eine grundform gerollt und darueber dann eine duenne schicht Fimo gelegt und angefangen von da an die einzelnen Krogs zu arbeiten
kleine aermchen kleine beinchen und ihre astartigen auswucherungen am kopf
so wie eine kleine raue textur die einer baumrinde aehnelt
Fimo Air ist aehnlich wie ton es ist lufttrocknend einfach zu verarbeiten UND fuer mich besonders wichtig nach dem vollstaendigen aushaerten und trocknen verliert es stark an gewicht somit sind schmuckstuecke beispielweise die daraus geformt sind kaum fuehlbar weil das material kaum noch was wiegt
als die Krogs alle ausgehaertet und trocken waren hab ich sie detailiert zwar original getreu mit einem hauch realismus bemalt
als alle teile vollstaendig abgetrocknet waren hab ich diese nach un nach mit einander verklebt mit heiskleber
erst nach 2 tagen ist mir aufgefallen das ich gegen diesen allergisch bin und schrecklich juckenden ausschlag im gesicht davon bekam weil mir der dampf immer direkt ins gesicht stieg
mit etwas UV Nagelgel habe ich ein paar wassertroepfchen hier und da angebracht an den masken so wie auf den seerosenblaettern
um alles dann zu positionieren hab ich das oben genannte plastikbrett genommen eine kleine wand aus steinchen die ich gesammelt hatte rundherum geklebt und dicht verkleistert
den boden mit etwas sand und kies geschmueckt um darueber dann eine duenne schicht (war rest verwertung) epoxidharz gegossen
als dieses (und ich hatte gebetet das wirklich die wand dicht war damit nichts auslaeuft was zum glueck auch so war) dann ausgehaertet war nach 24h konnt ich ein paar feinheiten noch einarbeiten und die kleinen seerosenblaetter aufsetzen und alles festmachen damit die Krogs eine flaeche zum stehen hatten
um das projekt abzuschliesen hab ich dann alle figuerchen aufgestellt gut verklebt damit alles gut haellt und mit ein paar gesammelten pflanzen und deko den abschluss gemacht
(am ende ist es groeser geworden als urspruenglich geplant war)
das ergebnis ist total suess und ziert nun den Flur
von den grosteil der arbeit habe ich videos aufgezeichnet was ein 3teiler wurd
wer also interesse und ausdauer hat darf sich dies gern ansehn

today i got something dif for u
still something creative but no drawing for once
as in one of my first blogs i mentioned that i not only draw but also mold figures and/or accessorys
and a while ago i had this super cute idea to do a fanartproject to the gaming serie The Legend of Zelda
especially bout the Koroks of he game Wind Waker

i always rly loved thos tiny and super cute creatures and had some ideas bout the project and sketched them down
my father then gave me a plasticsheet i could use as a base for my project
i did made a handfull of thos Koroks with they super cute leaflike masks and the main Korok Makar with his violin out of Fimo Air
befor i did start (to safe some material) i made some bases used papertissue and foil then i covered thos bases with a thing layer of Fimo and worked out the Koroks from there
tiny arms tiny legs and their branchlike horns on their heads
also added a rough texture like bark
Fimo Air is similar to regular Clay its air drying and easy to work with AND which is most important for my needs ...once its fully hardned and dried up it loses a mass on weight
this way its perfect to mold and create accessorys couse it weights nearly nothing
once the Koroks were fully cured i used some watercolors to paint them detailed as the original but still with a hint of realism
once everything was dry..the Koroks the Masks and Leafs i then glued everything together with hotglue
took me 2 days to realise im allergic to that glue and got a damn itchy rashes along my jaw and cheeks
with tiny bit of my UV Nailgel i added some waterdrops here and there like on the masks and leafs
and to set everything in place i did used the earlier mentioned plasticsheet and build/glued a wall of collected stones all around and payed attention to not to leave any gap between
then i covered the baseground with some sand andtiny stones and covered everything (using some leftovers) with a thin layer of epoxy resin
once (i did hoped i covered every hole and gap to prevent the resin to run through and luckily i did good!) the resin was cured after 24h i was able to set everything in place and do some details so the Koroks having something to stand on
to finish the project i glued the figures and everything together and into place once everything was set i added some more details with collected dried flowers to give it a finishing touch
(it ended up being bigger than planed)
the result after all is super cute and is now some home-decoration
i also recorded the most of my works during this project and ended up being a 3 part video
