Where we live life insurance ads dominate T.V.
Lots of money to be made, you see?
Insurance, a licence to print money, it is.
Providing they get the factoring right, a great biz.
Recently, I saw an ad that did declare,
It really did, even if you weren’t there!
That policy would be paid in full,
Not just on demise, which is standard and dull,
But also if diagnosed with a terminal illness too!
A quite interesting fact that we’ll pursue.
Arguably, with an inherited imperfection death in store,
One has a terminal illness, though we may implore,
Since the day that one is born,
A reality that begins to dawn.
Consequently, a certificate of birth,
Must have the same value and worth,
As a medical pronouncement of illness severe,
So very severe that it, indeed, does appear,
That the very prognostication be terminal,
Whether causal factor be microbial or verminal.

This being so, the inference must be,
That when one has a new born baby,
One could insure he or she, for a large sum,
Multiple times, if more children did come.
And with the Birth Certificate as supporting criteria,
Claim on the Policy, not for diphtheria,
Or any other terminal type disease,
Which does undoubtedly aggrieve and displease.

This breakthrough in insurance understanding
Would encourage large families without grandstanding.
Make for an ongoing financial soft landing,
Plenty of walking around, generously glad handing.
