Art 73: Kuris-Kuris Drawing with Timelapse

Artist’s Note

Hi, welcome to my 73rd art in Steemit! This is my ink-scribbling art entitled ”STARE”. I choose this title for this art because very often in our lives we fail to look closely into something and because of that we judge wrongly. We believe and depend right away on what we see. Stare is a different approach. It is seeing beyond what we see in our naked eyes. It is looking closely to what is truth where true beauty is present.

I call this method “kuris-kuris” art. In Cebuano, kuris-kuris refers to lines withouth definite direction. Remember when you were a kid when you started sketching? You just sketch freely without thinking the boundaries and the form you can make? That is called kuris-kuris.

However in this art, I am minding the boundaries and the value. Because these are two important factors for us to make a form, shape and reality. Id like to share to you a time-lapse video of this art.
