Art 94: Dorgran | Art Explosion Week 43: Mythology
Hi, everyone! Welcome to my 94th Art Blog. This artwork is my participation piece for the contest hosted by @juliakponsford having the theme - Mythology. I want to create my own mythologic god. So, I hope you enjoy this!
This is Dorgran the god of harvest. He protects the crops day and night by fighting the evil attackers. He becomes very strong when farmers give him animal offerings. But, at this age, people do not believe of spirits and demigods anymore.
Drawing Process:
I hope you enjoy the drawing process. I start on the lower part of the subject because I do not worry about with smudging and getting dirty. In this drawing, I used the Hatching and Cross-Hatching techniques.
